STILWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State University's star running back Chuba Hubbard threatened not to play for OSU after seeing a tweet featuring OSU football coach Mike Gundy.
The tweet Hubbard shared showed Gundy posing for a picture wearing a t-shirt byOne America News Network (OAN), a pro-Trump conservative cable channel.
Hubbard tweeted he "will not stand for this" and "will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE."

OSU President Burns Hargis commented on Hubbard's tweet:
I hear and respect the concerns expressed by our Black student-athletes. This is a time for unity of purpose to confront racial inequities and injustice. We will not tolerate insensitive behavior by anyone at Oklahoma State.
Later that day, Gundy and Hubbard appeared to make amends and promise change in a video on Twitter.
Hubbard posted on Twitter again on Tuesday thanking his supporters.
He said he wasn't wrong for saying what he said. However, he felt he should have gone to Gundy as a man, "face to face rather than on twitter."
I am glad things happened the way they did because things are being changed as we speak!
Hubbard said he is emotionally tired and drained of seeing things happen without consequences and results.
"I want change that will bring better experience for my black brothers and sisters at Oklahoma State. It's that simple," Hubbard said.
Chuba Hubbard ends by stating that he is working "EVERYDAY" to offer change to the organization, that "good will come from this."
