TULSA — According to the City of Tulsa, crew are ready to go in preparation for the possible winter weather on Wednesday.
The community is expected to see 47 plows and 10,000 to 11,000 tons of salt, maybe more depending on the weather.
Crews will be on the scene looking after 35 different routes in the city from midnight until noon on Wednesday.
Officials say the crews will start with bridges, hills, and overpasses first, then the main arterial routes like hospitals and emergency areas.
Crews will be plowing roads where there is an inch to two-inch buildup.
Officials advise the community not to travel on the streets if you don't have to.
