TULSA---The waterline near 15th and Memorial is now fixed and the water is back on for nearby businesses.

Crews say it will take up to a week to fill in the hole.

Thecity's website says it affected 14 businesses.

Officials say they received reports of  the 12-inch waterline break around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

They only expected repairs to take 6-8 hours, but are now predicting another 8-10.

Thursday crews said they would begin digging once it was safe and all underground lanes had been identified.

Officials say the break may have been caused by old pipes.

Northbound lanes in the area are closed, but one southbound and one northbound lane will be open in the southbound lanes.

It is not known at this time how households in the area are affected.
