Police Identify Victim From Deadly Stabbing At Ivy Place Apartments

TULSA — Tulsa police say they've arrested the man who stabbed another man to death at an east Tulsa apartment complex overnight.

It happened at the Ivy Place Apartments, near Admiral and Garnett just before midnight.

Police say the suspect and victim were arguing, when one man stabbed the other. The victim, 28-year-old Dyeshon Harper, was stabbed and ran away. While the suspect, 50-year-old Charles Ingram, had injuries to his eye and arm, police say.

Harper was located and taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police say Ingram approached officers and surrendered.

Police also recovered the knife.

Police say Ingram was taken to a local hospital, and after being released and questioned, was booked on complaints for manslaughter.
