Delta: Flight diverted to Tulsa safely lands in Denver

TULSA -- Delta announced Sunday that flight 1817 safely completed its trip to Denver after being forced to land in Tulsa Saturday.

The flight was originally headed from Atlanta to Denver when it was diverted to Tulsa. A total of nine passengers aboard the flight complained of feeling nauseous.

Emergency personnel later discovered the heightened presence of carbon monoxide on board the aircraft. Now, the airline says technicians are examining the airplane.

The source of carbon monoxide is expected to be released within the coming days.
