According to Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, a news conference will be held today, Nov. 5, to announce charges filed in a 24-year-old Wagoner Cold Case.

The conference will be hosted by District 27 District Attorney Jack Thorp and the Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Ricky Adams.

Officials say 62-year-old Donald Hawley was found murdered on April 7, 1995.

Due to a lack of leads, the investigation into Hawley's death resulted in it going cold.

In the Fall of 2018, the OSBI Cold Case Unit started digging into the case, and a suspect has been charged today.

The news conference begins at 3 p.m. at the Wagoner County Courthouse.
