CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — Firefighters are responding to a large grass fire in Creek County, according to the Drumright Fire Department.

Crews arrived on the scene Monday afternoon near West 71st Street South and South 449th West Avenue.

The Olive Fire Department says about 320 acres burned.

An abandoned house caught on fire, but firefighters quickly put it out and saved the house.

Firefighters are still on the scene, watching hot spots and the fire line.

The fire is under investigation, however Olive Fire Dept. Chief Jason Dobson believes it started from welders working on a fence.
