TULSA — A movie recently filmed right here in Green Country just won top honors at the Sundance Film Festival.

Officials say Minari won both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award.

Last summer, the scenes for the film were being shot in downtown Skiatook.

Other scenes were shot all around Tulsa.

It's about a Korean family that moves to Arkansas in the 1980s, and the many hardships they face while pursuing the American dream.

The executive producer for the film was Oklahoma-native Brad Pitt.
