Flood emergency assistance event to be held in Rogers County on Tuesday

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — A community event will be held in Rogers County on Tuesday to help people in the county affected by recent floods and storms.

The event will be from 12-7 p.m. in the Rogers County Building in front of the Claremore Expo at 416 South Brady.

Multiple local volunteer organizations and county officials will be available to answer questions and offer potential assistance for residents impacted by the recent storms.

Organizations expected to attend the event include: Light Of Hope, United Methodist Disaster Relief, Salvation Army, RoCo Health Dept, OSU Extension Office, Southern Baptist Disaster relief, RoCo Planning Commission and RoCo Assesors Office.
