A young Florida boy paid tribute to fallen Tulsa Police Sgt. Craig Johnson.

Johnson died Tuesday morning after being shot during a traffic stop around 3:30 a.m. on Monday. The second officer injured in the shooting, Officer Aurash Zarkeshan, is improving and has been responsive to medical staff.

Zechariah Cartledge started the nonprofit Running 4 Heroes and he runs one mile for every first responder who passes away in the line of duty.

Last night, he ran a mile for Johnson while carrying a blue thin line flag.

"I pray that Craig Johnson and his wife and two sons, the rest of his family and his whole department and all of his friends," Cartledge said. "I pray you heal soon in this hard time."

Before Cartledge ran, he prayed and a bagpiper played.

Several police departments, a fire department and other groups also joined him by following him in their cars.
