TULSA — Long time worker Kareem spent all morning preparing for the long lines expected at Tally's this morning.

Last year, they served more than 1,200 people.

They tell us they're prepared to serve even more this year.

Last year, Tally's prepared more than a thousand pounds of turkey, 60 pumpkin pies, and at least 15 trays for all the side dishes.

The owner tells me he sees a wide range of people who come in every year.

"Sometimes people go through hard time, then you have single parents who can't afford to have a thanksgiving dinner, sometime you have a student that cannot go home, so people go through a rough time, and that's what I feel like I really want to help out and give back to the community," Tally said.

The free meal at Tally's has been offered as long as the cafe has been in business, and everyone is welcome today.

They'll be serving free lunch from 11 a.m. until 3p.m. at the 11th and Yale location only, expect a long line!
