TULSA -- Families at Fulton Plaza are still without heat after more than a month. Apartment managers told 2 Works for You the boiler would be fixed Monday, but people who live there tell us, that isn't the case.
The City of Tulsa condemned part of the apartment complex on Wednesday afternoon.

"It would be lovely to keep the heat going all night especially with little ones," a tenant said.
Another Fulton Plaza tenant claims they're too scared to show their face. They're afraid of retaliation from the apartment complex.
"When we moved over here they said they would be getting it fixed," a tenant said.
After 2 Works for You notified Tulsa Fire Department Friday, apartment management was required to have a fire watch crew present to monitor space heaters in 40 units. They were supposed to be on site 24 hours a day until the boiler was fixed.
"Just walking around and making sure everything was ok," a tenant said.
Some tenants want a deduction in rent, after not having heat for more than a month.
"A little something would be nice to keep in our pockets for the hassle," one tenant said.
A text message from a tenant shows that management claims the heat would be turned on by Tuesday and they wouldn't make an adjustment on rent.
"Ever since they said they were going to fix it, they have been working on it," a tenant said. "So it's not like they're just not doing anything."
2 Works for You called the complex. They put us on hold for quite sometime. We called back and they said they had no comment when asked if the boiler was fixed. The Tulsa Fire Department says the complex told them the repairs have been made. Now, they'll have to wait for the city mechanical inspector to sign off. But according to Tulsa fire, the fire watch crew is still required.
"It's a good thing you know in case somebody knocks it over," one tenant said.
On Wednesday afternoon, Tulsa City Councilor Karen Gilbert saying she will be at the apartment complex at 2 pm to talk to media about the property managers plan.
