TULSA — Gathering Place is teaming up with the Tulsa Community Foundation and Tulsa Police Department to host a Back to School Supply Drive.
The Back to School Supply Drive is for elementary students in Tulsa County.
The school supplies donations go to the Tulsa Police Department Community Engagement unit to help support their neighborhood engagement this fall.
The Tulsa Police Department greatly appreciates the support of the Gathering Place and their partnership with us in providing school supplies to children in our community.
People can drop off school supply donations at the Williams Lodge drive-thru loop at the Gathering Place between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Tulsa Community Foundation's "Supplied for Success" ensure children begin school with all the supplies they need to succeed. The program gives supplies to over 24,000 students at 51 Tulsa and Union elementary schools.
Back to school in Tulsa looks a little different this year, but that doesn’t change the fact that students are still in need of the necessary school supplies. Education is at the heart of the Park’s mission, and we are thrilled to partner with Tulsa Police Department and our friends at Supplied for Success to provide educational opportunities for Tulsa County children.
