Should you be allowed to carry a gun at the Oklahoma City Zoo?

That is a question some people are asking.

Currently, guns are banned at the zoo, but the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association says that violates a person's constitutional right.

According to KOCO, Oklahoma Second Amendment Association President Don Spencer said the Oklahoma City Zoo is taking away citizens' right to carry guns with its current policy.

During a recent trip to the zoo, Spencer was asked by zoo officials to either return the gun to his vehicle or leave.

Spencer refused to leave, so officials banned him from the zoo for life.

He voiced his opposition to the zoo's policy at the zoo's Board of Trustees meeting Wednesday afternoon.

The zoo argues that since they are a business, they have the right to ban guns from the zoo.
