TULSA – Nathan Hale High School was placed on a modified lockdown Tuesday temporarily as authorities investigated a social media message.

The modified lockdown was lifted around 10:30 a.m. after authorities located the accused student believed to have posted a possible threat on social media. Police spoke with the student's parents, as well as the accused student.

According to Tulsa Public Schools, police were called to the school to investigate the severity of the social media message. The student accused of posting the message was found and taken into Tulsa police custody.

Due to the student's age, their name will not be released. No weapons were found with the student and police are leaving it up to Tulsa Public Schools to press charges.
