JENKS, Okla. - The music building of Jenks High School was evacuated Thursday morning after someone reported finding a suspicious package.
Authorities in Jenks say Tulsa bomb squad was called in to assist after a suspicious person was seen leaving a suspicious package.
Officials say a person with a red shirt and beard was seen attaching some type of device to the music building Thursday morning.
Tulsa Police, Jenks Police, and Tulsa bomb squad were all called to the scene. Police say the device has been crushed and no longer poses a threat.
UPDATE: TPD has declared that there is NO THREAT at the JHS music building and an ALL CLEAR has been given. All students/staff are safe.

Police later discovered that the man seen attaching the package to the music building was actually stealing electricity. The suspect was taken into custody.
Birch and F Streets were both closed off during the investigation into the package.
