A standoff in north Tulsa Monday night ended with the one person dead and another wounded.

Police say it started around 7 p.m. near 61st St. North and Lewis Avenue.

They say the initial call was in response to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. When police arrived on scene, a person barricaded himself in the home.

When sheriff deputies entered the home, they found the suspect dead from gunshot wounds that appeared to be self-inflicted. Deputies say the victim had been shot, but is expected to recover.
