TULSA, Okla. — A neighborhood effort to make sure families have the food they need in this pandemic and a restaurant favorite that remains open is drawing even more support.
It all started with the King family creating a fund with Growing Together to help buy meal kits for families in need.
Elote Cafe and Catering preps the kits to deliver to families in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood.
Now, Tulsa artist Taylor Painter-Wolfe is giving 40% of the proceeds from her art sales to help feed even more families.
"Any amount of time and energy you can give to people in your community I think is really great and helps spread that positivity," Taylor said.
You can find Taylor's art on her Facebook, Instagram and website.
