Less than a month after opening, Tulsa's new splash park in Chandler Park has had to shut down due to faulty parts.
The multi-million dollar Splash Park started to experience issues last week.
County workers found that there was a problem with one of the valves in the circulation system.
They are working with the manufacturer to get the new parts in and get the system back up and running.
The Tulsa County Parks Director, Richard Bales says, "This is a very new and unique project for our department, so it's a big learning curve. And we are still discovering things every day. So we had this hiccup that no body expected, nobody could have foreseen, really."
As of right now, there is no timeline on the delivery of parts or when the Splash Park will reopen.
