TULSA - One man was transported to the hospital after being shot late Friday night by an acquaintance, say police.

According to police, a K-9 officer was flagged down just before midnight by two people claiming Dwight Phillips, 39, fired shots at them when they came to Phillips' residence near Harvard and Woodrow Place.

According to a police report, a 32-year-old male was shot and suffered non-life threatening injures.  His 27 year old friend took cover and was not injured.

Tulsa Police secured the area and Phillips surrendered without further incident.

Phillips was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon along with various other charges.
