Adam Densmore, man suspected of dismembering woman, is transferred to Colorado authorities

OKMULGEE, Okla. - The man accused of dismembering a woman and leaving parts of her body inside a dumpster in Okmulgee is in the process of extradition back to Colorado.

Adam Densmore was being held at the Okmulgee County Jail.

Police say they were called to the Murphy USA gas station Feb. 15 after an employee reportedly found human remains in a dumpster.

When police arrived on scene, they say the human remains were recovered from the dumpster. The woman was identified as Ashley Mead, 25, of Boulder, Co. Densmore and Mead have a 13-month-old daughter together. The toddler was with Densmore at the time of his arrest.
