TULSA — Former mayor New York City Michael Bloomberg, survivors of gun violence and local volunteers with the Oklahoma chapter of Moms Demand Action held a gun safety event in Tulsa on Thursday.
Oklahoma Moms Demand Action, along with Bloomberg, met with the community to discuss gun violence prevention in the state.
The event was held at the Jewish Federation of Tulsa at 12:30 p.m.
Earlier this week, Bloomberg announced a $1 million gift to The Greenwood Art Project in Tulsa.
