PICHER, Okla. — According to Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, the Tulsa Police Department's Dive Team, one of several agencies working together to find clues in the missing Welch girls case, is searching bodies of water in the Picher area.
TPD's Underwater Search and Recovery Unit, which consists of 14 members, is using hard-wired communication equipment.
While other law enforcement investigators, are using a ground-penetrating radar to search the property.

The area consists of mines and shafts that have collapsed over the past 20-years, filling with water and creating ponds.
