MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Muskogee Public Schools announced Monday that nine staff members and 26 students are under quarantine after a staff member at New Tech at Cherokee Elementary tested positive for COVID-19.
Through contact tracing, 35 people were identified as being in direct contact with the staff member, according to district officials. They were notified and will be required to quarantine for 14 days.

On Friday, the district said two students, including one at Rougher Alternative Academy and an e-learning student, tested positive for the virus.
