TULSA — Oklahoma Game Wardens say charges will be filed against boaters who were using an illegal shocking device to catch fish.

The incident happened along the Kiamiachi River in southeast Oklahoma.

Three game wardens observed two boats that appeared to be fishing with the illegal electrofishing device early Saturday morning on the river.

Wardens waited for the fishing crew to return to the boat landing, and when they returned, they discovered the shocking device, wire lead and 10 catfish that had been shocked and held in a boat's live well.
