The start of the Oklahoma Legislative Session is exactly one week away.

And one of the first items lawmakers will take up is rules limiting four-day school weeks.

We first told you last week, the State Board of Education voted to adopt new tougher standards over four-day schools weeks.

It's based on student performance.

But many education advocates say those new rules are unattainable for most districts.

State lawmakers still have to approve the rules before they take effect.
