Governor Kevin Stitt assigned more than 25 members of the Oklahoma National Guard to help the Oklahoma State Department of Health at the National Stockpile Warehouse in Oklahoma City.
The guardsmen will help fulfill, secure and transport orders of relief and medical supplies to facilities across Oklahoma.
After an order is received, the service members will pick the quantity and type of equipment for each order.
Many of the guardsmen live and work as civilians throughout the state so they are able to see the direct impact their work has on our communities.
