A Hugo, Oklahoma native is competing on the "The Voice" tonight at 7 p.m. after he joined Team Adam during blind auditions.

Trey Rose's performance of "Wake Me Up" inspired a recruiting battle between Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

Rose, 26, is native to Hugo, but has since moved to Houston. Rose plays shows in Texas five to six nights a week to make ends meet for his two children.

He will be competing during battles Monday night during a two-hour special.
