Oklahoma senator rallies for action on immigration reform

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford is rallying with evangelical leaders to urge Congress to tackle the immigration problem.

A key goal - deportation protection for immigrants using DACA.

That program allows thousands of young people to stay in the country after they were brought to the US illegally.

“This is a unique moment that I think that we're standing in that there's a deadline and a requirement to actually act on some issues related to these individuals,” said Lankford.

Joining the senator was South Tulsa Baptist Church Pastor Eric Constanzo.

Lawmakers have until March 5th to come up with a solution, that’s when DACA expires.
