One person dies in Tulsa shooting

TULSA, Okla.- A person has died after being shot in north Tulsa.

Tulsa Police Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker says that Jaleel Mixon died after someone shot him. 

Police say someone shot Mixon near West 50th Street and Elwood at about 1am Thursday.

EMSA transported Mixon to a hospital were he died. Police say he was shot multiple times.

Police say Mixon was able to speak to officers prior to being transported to St. Francis Hospital.

At 2:21 AM Mixon was pronounced dead.

Officers were able to locate the apparent scene of the shooting at 314 W 50 SN. 

Detectives have recovered several shell casings, and a small amount of cocaine at the location. 

TPD hasn't located any eyewitnesses, but only people that heard the shooting.  

Investigators say that Mixon left a house in East Tulsa around 11pm with an unknown individual in an unknown car.

So far, there are no suspects.
