MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Muskogee County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI's assistance to investigate a deputy-involved shooting at Coco Bongos Gentleman's Club near Muskogee early in the morning on July 12th.
Investigators said a little after midnight, deputies responded to a possible armed robbery.
They arrived on the scene and found 24-year-old Matthew Dylan Lucht, who was armed.
Deputies attempted to make contact with Lucht and a shooting occurred.
They performed life-saving measures on Lucht, but he passed away at the scene.
One deputy suffered minor injuries and no patrons inside the building were injured.
The shooting is still under investigation.
