The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been requested by the Latimer County Sheriff's Office to investigate skeletal remains found by hunters this morning.
The remains were found in a creek three miles east of Hartshorne on Highway 1.
It is believed the remains are of one individual.
The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is working with the OSBI to identify the remains.
