NORMAN, Okla. — The University of Oklahoma on Thursday announced the 28 "employee reductions" in areas of the Norman and Health Sciences Center campuses.

The reductions are expected to provide more than $2 million in annual savings.

All affected employees have been notified and were provided at least 60 days of paid notification in advance of their last day of employment and a separation program.

The reductions primarily come from the Information Technology department on the Norman campus and the landscaping department on the Health Sciences Center campus.
