Proposed bill would increase speed limit on some highways to 80 mph

OKLAHOMA CITY — Several bills on the books will impact your daily life.

House Bill 1071, authored by State Rep. Daniel Pae, would allow you to go faster on highways.

If approved, you would be able to drive 80 miles per hour on portions of toll roads.

This would go into effect in November if passed.
