PS Recall Roundup: CPSC warns about drug packaging to protect children from accidental poisoning

TULSA, Okla. — Child resistant packaging is important to keeping kids out of harm's way, and this week's Problem Solvers Recall Roundup begins with a warning about some drug packages you need to check for in your home.

To protect children from accidental poisoning, Medique is recalling 31 kinds of over-the-counter medications.

Those products are in packaging that fails to meet child resistant packaging requirements. The products are sold exclusively on Amazon.com.

If you have these products, you're advised to store them out of reach of children and contact Medique for instructions about how to safely dispose of them and get a full refund.

Organic Aromas is recalling its Wintergreen essential oil because it fails to meet child resistant packaging requirements. You can return the oil for a store credit or replacement with another essential oil of the same size.

Monoprice is recalling ethernet cables that pose a fire hazard. If you have these, stop using them immediately and contact Monoprice to get a free installation visit to inspect and replace the cable at no charge.

Lastly, RH is recalling “Industrial Three-Panel Mirrors.” Panels can come loose posing an injury hazard.
