MCALESTER, Okla. — Who isn't eating some comfort food during this pandemic?

Oklahoma's own country music legend Reba McEntire is no different, she made a stop at a Braum's in McAlester for a treat.

The restaurant posted about it on their social media platforms.

Braum's is an Oklahoma based restaurant that started in 1968 and is now in five states and has a dairy farm in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

McEntire is an Oklahoma native, born in McAlester in 1955. She is a legend in country music, television and film star and even appeared on Broadway. She's sold over 56 million albums worldwide and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. She's won 15 American Music Awards; 13 ACM Awards;9 People’s Choice Awards; 7 CMA Awards; 2 GRAMMY Awards; an ACM Career Achievement Honor; and is one of only four entertainers in history to receive the National Artistic Achievement Award from the U.S. Congress.

During the pandemic she's also streamed a concert at the Grand Ole Opry with fellow Oklahoma native Vince Gill.
