Retiring Tulsa police chief given key to city

TULSA, Okla. — The City of Tulsa is paying tribute to the man who ran the Tulsa Police Department for a decade.

The city posted a picture on Facebook as the mayor declared Friday, Jan. 31 as Chief Chuck Jordan Day in Tulsa.

Chief Jordan was given a key to the city as he retires. He did the traditional final sign off Thursday night.

Last week, Mayor G.T. Bynum named Major Wendell Franklin as the new police chief.
