CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. — Robert Bever, a man who was given numerous life sentences for killing five family members in Broken Arrow, is being accused of assaulting a staff member at Joseph Harp Correctional Center.
Documents said the incident happened on Monday afternoon. Bever approached a psychological clinician and social services specialist from behind with a "sharpened instrument," according to documents.
Staff grabbed Bever, and asked for him to release the weapon, which he did, documents said.
Security staff arrived and placed Bever in hand restraints.
Documents said there were no serious injuries as a result of the incident.
