Rogers County deputies say a man is in custody after an overnight pursuit.

Rogers County deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the Hard Rock Casino.

Deputies say when they approached the vehicle the suspect gave multiple fake names.

Deputies say the suspect, Sammi Young, ended up fleeing the traffic stop and in the process attempted to run over two deputies.

The pursuit started near I-44 and North 193rd East Avenue say deputies. The pursuit continued on I-44 westbound going towards Peoria Avenue.

Law enforcement says spike strips were successful, popping the two passenger tires on the suspect's vehicle.

When the Young's vehicle finally came to a stop near 21st Street and Highway 169, deputies say he took off on foot into a nearby neighborhood.

Deputies were able to apprehend Young in a backyard by Tulsa Police Department's K9.

Deputies say Young has been transported to Rogers County Jail.
