Sanctuary City Concerns: Okla. U.S. Attorneys Say These Cities Protect Immigrant Criminals

U.S. attorneys in Oklahoma are siding with attorney general William Barr on sanctuary cities.

In a statement, attorneys Timothy Downing, Brian Kuester and Trent Shores say sanctuary city policies are misleading and only protect criminals.

The U.S. attorneys believe cities with these policies put Oklahomans at risk, because known criminal immigrants released in sanctuary cities have traveled to neighboring states.

The statement ends with the attorneys saying they support Oklahoma's immigrant communities and look forward to improving public safety.
