TULSA -- Tulsa police are searching for two men they say robbed a midtown Tulsa Walgreens Tuesday night.

Tulsa Police say the robbery happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Walgreens located on 51st Street and Lewis Avenue.

Both men were wearing hoodies with their faces covered when they demanded cash from a pharmacy worker before fleeing on foot. The alleged robbers also stole one person's wallet, say police.

According to reports, shoppers inside the store were hiding during the robbery.

Shampaigne Wilcox is a frequent shopper and says she can’t imagine if she were inside the store at the time of the robbery.

"I’d be terrified if this happened to me. I wouldn't know what to do it would be pretty scary for that to happen inside especially if I had my kids with me and they're always coming to this Walgreens with me,” said Wilcox.

Police didn’t specify how much money was stolen from the store, but they say Walgreens has surveillance video police are looking through.

Police are currently searching for the suspects in a perimeter set up following the robbery.
