ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. – In a surprising turn of events this week, Rogers County deputies issued a search warrant expecting to arrest one or two people and ended up taking six people into custody.

According to Sheriff Scott Walton, the Thug Taskforce was serving a warrant at a home in Chelsea this week when they discovered multiple bags of white substance that was later identified as methamphetamine.

“We were fortunate enough to be there when a couple car loads of these thugs pulled up to settle this matter and instead of taking one or two people to jail, we ended up taking six.”

Overall they arrested Dennis Grigg, Anthony Hemphill, Garland Maddox, Nathan Williams, Tina Spurgeon and Morgan Abbott.

All six of the people arrested face possession charges and several also face manufacturing charges.
