TULSA — Gov. Kevin Stitt, Mayor G.T. Bynum and other city leaders announced on Friday that WPX Energy will bringing its headquarters to downtown Tulsa.
The announcement came during a 2:30 p.m. news conference. The headquarters, which will bring more than 400 jobs to downtown Tulsa, will be located in the historic Greenwood District.
Officials said the new headquarters is expected to open in early 2022.
