OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder will face the defending champion Golden State Warriors on opening night to begin its 2018-19 NBA season.
The Thunder will face the Warriors on the road on Oct. 16.
On Christmas Day, the Thunder will travel to Houston to face the Rockets. The Thunder holds a 6-2 record in Christmas Day games.
Both games will be nationally televised.
Oklahoma City's full 2018-19 schedule is expected to be released later this week.
