TPD: Suspect arrested in connection to Tulsa's 2nd homicide of 2020

TULSA — Tulsa police have arrested a suspect in connection to Tulsa's second homicide of 2020.

On Sunday, Police say they were called to a homicide near North Union Avenue and West Virgin Street.

Police say they found a victim, a 26-year-old Kim Hayes, inside a home with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died, police say.

Police say the Tulsa Police Warrants Unit arrested 28-year-old Charles Boaz for the homicide.

Police say the Warrant Unit located Boaz in the area of Tulsa Hills shopping center Wednesday morning and arrested him.
