TULSA — The Tulsa School Board will hear the most recent plan to close four schools in the district.

School officials are looking to cut nearly $20 million from the district's budget for the next school year, officials say.

Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist will present most of her recommendations at tonight's school board meeting to address these budget concerns.

Officials say this includes closing at Wright Elementary, Grimes Elementary, Mark Twain Elementary, and Jones Elementary.

This move would save the district nearly $13 million, officials say.

Tonight's meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Charles C. Mason Education Service Center.
