Dr. Deborah Birx, the Trump administration’s coronavirus coordinator, is coming to Oklahoma on Sunday.
President Donald Trump made the announcement during a news conference in early August.
The president said she will bring "aggressive, tailored and targeted guidance" to several states.
He said she is also going to visit Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas.
Birx is expected to be in Tulsa on Sunday, August 14.
There is no information on the locations or places she will be visiting at this time.
