TULSA - The University of Tulsa Board of Trustees voted to remove the name of John Rogers from the College of Law building.

The university announced the vote Wednesday after controversy surrounding John Rogers' association with the Klu Klux Klan.

The board says a plaque memorializing the life of John Rogers will be installed at the entrance of the law building. They believe this decision will advance their "commitment to inclusivity, diversity and a more engaged campus community.
