TULSA — A Tulsa Boy Scout troop's "Fly the Flag" program is growing.

Troop 26 plants flags in Maple Ridge, Forest Ridge and Forest Creek for all patriotic holidays. More than 350 homes invited the Boy Scouts this year.

They tell us it takes hours to cover these neighborhoods, but the troop continues to look forward to it.

"You build connections by placing the flags out so everyone sees them. It kind of just strengthens a bond in America," said Hayden Inman, Boy Scout Troop 26.

Maple Ridge added almost 80 flags just in the last two years.

Boy Scouts will take them down later in the week, but they'll be back again the week of 9/11.
