Tulsa Homicide looking for shooter involved in east Tulsa killing

Posted

TULSA - Homicide detectives are looking for two men in latest killing in east Tulsa on Monday morning.

Tulsa Police received a call about 1:30 a.m. and responded to a shooting at 5941 E. Marshall St.

Officers say a 39-year-old Hispanic male was found shot and killed at the east Tulsa home.

Investigators did some digging and are now focused on two Hispanic males who they say fled in a vehicle from the scene.

Homicide Detective Sgt. Dave Walker says the alleged shooter has been identified as Jose Ibarra Pelligrin. He said that was determined after Pelligrin's birth certificate was found at the scene. Officers say Pelligrin also had a forged Arizona Identification Card under the name of Eddica Gaspar.

Investigators determined there was an argument inside the residence that led to the shooting. The second person Homicide is interested in is the one who allegedly drove Pelligrin away from the scene.

Anyone with information on Pellegrin's whereabouts are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS, the Homicide Tip Line at (918) 798-8477 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org.
